Query data
The tools the Copilot uses to answer almost everything: it searches records with filters, reads the fields of a specific record and calculates grouped totals, in any app of your Odoo.
Requirements

Tools
Search records
Searches records of any model with filters (customer, dates, status…) and returns the fields it needs. Tool: search_records.

Read a record
Reads the fields of a specific record, for example an invoice or a contact. Tool: read_record.

Calculate totals
Counts and sums, grouped by customer, by month, by salesperson…, without fetching every record. Tool: aggregate_records.

- How much does each customer owe us?
Prepare filters
Builds and validates Odoo search filters (domains) before they're used. It doesn't query any data on its own. Tool: build_domain.
Read attachments
Reads the content of an attachment that's already in Odoo (for example, the PDF of a vendor bill). Tool: read_attachment.
You don't need this permission to attach your own file in the chat: see Attach files.

Limits
The Copilot fetches records in pages and summarizes long results. Sensitive fields that your role must not see (for example, bank details) are masked.
Troubleshooting
Quoted text is exactly what the app shows, in Spanish, followed by what it means. When the Copilot can't propose something, it explains why in the chat, in its own words.
