Connect your assistant with MCP Connect

MCP Connect brings your Odoo into your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or another MCP client), read-only and with your Odoo user. You bring the model; we provide the secure connection and the metrics.

Requirements

Connect your assistant

In the app, open MCP Connect: it shows your space's address (https://mcp.conectoreserp.es/o/<your-space>/mcp) and the configuration, ready to copy.

Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)

1. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Give it a name (for example, "Odoo") and paste your space's address. You don't need the advanced settings.
3. Click Connect: the Conectores ERP sign-in opens. Sign in with your account and authorize. With Claude, you don't need a key.

ChatGPT

You need a ChatGPT plan that lets you add custom MCP servers. According to OpenAI, these are Business, Enterprise and Edu, and Pro with read-only access. On Business, Enterprise and Edu, only workspace admins might be able to add them.

1. On chatgpt.com, in the sidebar, open the section where you manage apps and connectors, and choose to add a custom MCP server.
2. Give it a name (for example, "Odoo") and paste your space's address as the server URL.
3. Select the risk warning checkbox and click the connect button.
4. In the connection window, confirm. The Conectores ERP sign-in opens: sign in with your account and grant access. With ChatGPT, you don't need a key.

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and others: with an ocx_ key

1. In MCP Connect, choose your client and click Crear clave (Create key). The key starts with ocx_; it isn't your Odoo key. Copy it: it's not shown again.
2. Copy the configuration, which already includes the key, and paste it into your client:

Each key is yours: it identifies your space and uses your Odoo user. You can have up to 3 active keys and revoke them on the same page. Admins see the keys of the whole space.

Quotas

A request is one call from your assistant to a tool of your Odoo. Every call that reaches your Odoo counts, even if Odoo answers with an error. Connecting the assistant, loading the tool list and calls that fail before they reach your Odoo, such as an expired session or an error on our server, don't count. The Copilot's lookups don't count here.

If the month's quota runs out, you can buy extra requests in Plan y facturación (Plan and billing); see credits. Each plan also has a daily limit that protects you from a runaway assistant.

Troubleshooting
